This semester has been pretty good. I hope all of you had plenty of books, beers, and essays, but mostly beer haha. This was my first online class and I had a great time, if you can remember to do your work then an online class is no problem. Stay golden.
1. How to drive drunk: Don’t do it.
2. How to study drunk: Just do it because it’s better than not doing it at all.
3. How to write drunk: With a pencil.
4. How to have sex drunk: With one eye open, and with a condom.
5. How to drink when you’re drunk: (drum roll) ///…///…BEER!!!
If you knew me, you’d know that I am almost constantly listening to music. Lately I have been listening to a lot tracks on soundcloud. This is website or application that lets a user upload their own original music. So it’s definitely more “indie” meaning these artists are not really signed to a major label. I actually know a few friends who create their own music and upload it into soundcloud. It’s a cool way to share your music, and it’s really easy to find new tunes that you’d into to. If you can recommend any songs to me, please do so! I love hearing new sounds. But here are a couple of tracks that I have been into lately:
Gallant- Open Up
Kero Kero Bonito- Flamingo
I am so sorry, I forgot to post yesterday. We were celebrating my aunts’ and uncles’ birthday party. I got so caught up in the birthday that I forgot to post. 😦
You guys won’t believe what I found yesterday on the ground, a baby bird. We wanted to put it back in the nest but the nest was way up on our roof. So we decided to keep it and try to keep it alive. So far so good, except for me who’s so sleepy because I woke up at 5:45. Hopefully the little birdie survives.
It feels like it has been a breeze, especially with me only taking three classes total, even though two of them were back-to-back because they were eight week courses.
I have used some time to go to the BS computer lab to work on some stuff for my web design course. It seems like it was more complicated, but at some point I realize that maybe it isn’t too hard.
At the moment, I feel like I have learned a lot from this conference that I went to last weekend. It also made me think that I should go and try to get my name out there in the world of writing. I enjoy writing fiction, as well as nonfiction, not to mention do journalistic writing. I feel like taking this writing class really got me to explore my passion a little more.
Maybe I’m the only one that feels this way, but I think that if a place of business has an application for you to fill out then a resume is kind of trite. The application is basically everything they want to know, everything on your resume you usually put on the application. Anything else they want to know they ask you during the interview. Just seems kind of vestigial at this point.
Got my beer and books. Now I need an essay.
